Lunch Bunch/Enrichment Application 2025-2026

Yorktown Community Nursery School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. Application Requirements

Toddlers: 2 years old by December 1st

Juniors: 3 years old by December 1st

Seniors: 3 years old by June 1st or 4 years old by December 1st *must be potty trained

Enrichment Program: 3 & 4 year olds, Mon, Tues & Thurs, 11:45-2pm

Note: Age requirements are coordinated with the age requirements of the Yorktown School District. Exceptions to this requirement will be made only when an enrolling child’s school district has a later age requirement for entrance into kindergarten.

Completed application and paid application fee + health form signed by your doctor.

Class size:16 children in the Senior (3- & 4-year-old) -5 day a week class, 16 children in the Junior 3-year-old 3-day a week class and 12 children in the Toddler 2-year-old class, 16 children in the Enrichment program.

Application Process

  • A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required with the application to hold a place in the school or on the waiting list.  

  • If applying for the Lunch Bunch and/or Afternoon Enrichment Programs a $50 non-refundable application fee is required.

  • In-school re-enrollment ($75 fee) begins in October. 

  • Alumni applications are accepted beginning November 1. Applicants will be placed in order of receipt. 

  • New family applications will be accepted beginning December 1. Applicants will be placed in order of receipt. 

  • A waiting list will be maintained for all classes in order of receipt. Applicants will be informed in writing of placement on a waiting list.

  • All new applicants will have a guided visit to the class with the Director at which time expectations for participation in a cooperative nursery school will be reviewed.

  • A tuition deposit ($200 for Toddlers, $300 Juniors and $500 for Seniors) is due at contract signing in the spring.
